Red light camera company sues League City

League City is being sued over a ballot measure that would give voters the opportunity to get rid of red light cameras.

Redflex Traffic Systems, which operates the cameras, says the ballot language is confusing and in violation of the company's contract with the city.

The measure lets voters decide whether to continue using the cameras once the city's contract expires in 2014.

League City's mayor called the suit frivolous.
