Two First Convenience banks were hit two hours apart. One was in the north side, the other in southwest Houston.
Cameras caught pictures of the robber. Investigators say he showed a weapon and demanded cash in both cases.
The robber is described as a white male in his late 30s, standing about 5-foot-9 and weighing about 180 pounds. He wears prescription glasses.
