A federal judge in Lubbock sentenced Johnny Haynes.
Haynes in May pleaded guilty to bribery related to drug smuggling into the Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility in Post.
Prosecutors say Haynes was arrested in February after he accepted $750 to smuggle about an ounce of marijuana to an inmate. Haynes, who was sentenced Friday, faced a maximum two-year prison term.
Prosecutors say a tip led to the investigation.
