The chase ended when the runaway driver crashed out in the middle of the town of Kendleton, nearly making it to Wharton County.
The chase started 30 minutes prior in the Kirkwood and Beechnut area of southwest Houston.
It's believed that suspect was driving a stolen vehicle.
