More than 30,000 marijuana plants were discovered in Polk County yesterday and now authorities are trying to find the people responsible.

The eight patches were found near FM 942 in Livingston. Members of the DEA, Texas Rangers and DPS were on hand for the bust. Authorities say the area has low foot traffic and vehicle access would be unlikely.

The plants ranged from four to nine feet high. So far, no arrests have been made in the case but investigators are looking.
