Sketches released of two suspects in NW Harris Co. murder

HOUSTON

On Monday at around 3am, deputies responded to a shooting in the 9000 block of Jones Road in northwest Harris County. They arrived to find Alexander Segura, 28, injured with a gunshot wound that he reportedly sustained during a robbery.

Segura was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where died from his injuries.

Investigators say Segura and a female companion had been sitting in a vehicle at the apartment complex when two men robbed them at gunpoint. Segura was reportedly shot while chasing the suspects after the robbery.

The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a slight build, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-11. He's believed to be in his 20s.

The second suspect is described as a light to medium-skinned black male with an average build, standing approximately 5-foot-11 and is in his late teens to early 20s.
