Sugar Land police say the man entered the Lenny's Sub Shop at 11420 Dairy Ashford Road on June 29 at around 1:35pm, placed an order and walked to the register, where he displayed a handgun and demanded cash. An employee gave the man money from the register, and he ran away.
The man was described as a slender black male with a muscular build, 35 to 45 years old and around 5 foot 3. He was wearing a brown or beige shirt with a collar that had a darker color stripe across the front, blue jeans, sunglasses and a black color baseball cap that had the word "HOODZ" in white letters across the front. The man walked with a limp.
