Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office tracked Daniel Frank Longoria Jr. to a motel in Houston where he was arrested by the Montgomery County SWAT Team without incident.
Longoria has been charged in the May 13, 2012, murder of Raymundo Zarate Jr. in Magnolia. Investigators identify him as the shooter.
Witnesses say Longoria followed Zarate's family from a park in Tomball to their Magnolia home after an argument at a Mother's Day celebration. According to police, the two men started arguing again once they reached Zarate's house.
Authorities say that's when Longoria pulled out a shotgun and shot Zarate twice, right in front his family.
Also charged in the case are Angeline McInnis, Adam Longoria and Jose Martinez.
