The airline says it will begin twice daily service from Bush Intercontinental to Dallas-Fort Worth International starting September 20.
Travelers can connect to Baltimore, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tampa, Portland or Mexico City. Spirit is known for low base fares and allowing customers to pay for extra services.
We checked Spirit's website and found fares for the first flights to Dallas to be between $60 and $75 round trip.
