Brian Michael Martin, 26, is charged with indecency with a child. Court documents state on May 3, Martin was watching a movie in the victim's bedroom of his Pasadena home when he sexually assaulted the 14-year-old boy. The victim says Martin also tried to kiss him at the time.
The boy told investigators that Martin gave him several pornographic magazines about a week before the alleged sexual assault. He told his mother about the incident when she found the magazines.
Police say Martin told them that he is interested in men, but that he prefers men older than the victim. He also told police that the boy had made sexual advances toward him in the past, but that he was not interested in him. Police say Martin admitted to being in the room watching the movie with the victim.
Martin's bail has been set at $20,000.
