Investigators say the driver of a Mazda went the wrong direction on Spur 527. The driver of a Lincoln Town car tried to avoid hitting him, but hit the Mazda head-on.
The driver of the Mazda, who was from out of town, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other driver was not hurt.
