Texas law requires children to be strapped in safety seats until they're eight years old or taller than 4-foot-9. A limited amount of free child seats will be given for those who demonstrate a financial need.
Today's inspections run from 9am until noon at the Target in Rosenberg's Brazos Town Center. Parents are asked to bring their child, vehicle and safety seat.
