The accident happened just before 1:15pm on Alabama Street at Almeda Road.
According to METRO police, both drivers claim they had the green light when the collision happened.
The pickup driver was taken to the hospital with back and neck injuries. At last check, the driver's condition was unknown.
No one on the bus was injured, officials said.
The accident is under investiagtion.
