According to authorities, the victim -- believed to be a black female in her 20s -- was found dead at a bus stop in the 3600 block of West Tidwell at Antoine in northwest Houston just after 7am. A passerby saw the body and alerted police.
They say the body had severe head trauma, but it is not obvious how the victim died. They think she may have been going to or leaving work and possibly lived in the area.
Officials say she had some property on her. No other details were immediately available.
