The bus barn on Normandy just north of the East Freeway filled with smoke about 4am. Investigators have already pinpointed the cause of the fire to one bus that was undergoing maintenance.
No one was working on the bus at the time. In fact, the bus barn was empty. It's still not clear why that bus caught fire.
The bus barn itself was filled with smoke but otherwise has no damage. The district's summer school classes started just yesterday.
