It happened Friday on the Gulf Freeway feeder near Almeda Genoa in southeast Houston.
Investigators say the pregnant woman ran a red light and her car was hit by a wrecker.
Police say they found open beer cans inside the woman's car.
She was taken to the hospital and discovered the crash caused her to suffer a miscarriage.
There is no word yet if she will face any charges for the accident.
