Crime Stoppers ups reward for info on murdered med student

HOUSTON

Crime Stoppers and private donors have put up a record $200,000 reward for information about the murder of Gelareh Bagherzadeh. She was found shot to death outside her family's town home in the Tanglewood area early in the morning of January 16. Officers have no suspects or motive.

"This the largest cash reward in the history of Crime Stoppers is offered today because this case is such a mystery, because we don't know what the motive is," Crime Stoppers Executive Director Katherine Cabaniss said.

Police ask anyone with information about the murder to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
