The stormy weather Saturday morning couldn't keep thousands of Houstonians from committing to the fight against breast cancer. They participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5-K walk at Reliant Park.
Cancer survivors and volunteers wore pink shirts for the event.
The American Cancer Society aims to raise $400,000 for breast cancer research from Saturday's walk.
