GALVESTON, TX --
A Galveston school bus loaded with students has been involved in a fatal wreck. The accident happened at about 5pm on 53rd at Broadway. A spokesperson for Galveston ISD says the school bus was coming from Ball High School when it turned right onto Broadway and struck a bicyclist, who was killed.
The students were placed on another bus and taken to their destination. No students were injured.
Galveston police and Galveston ISD police are investigating the accident.
