The accident happened just before 9am on the freeway at Highway 288. Details are sketchy at this point on what exactly happened but there was another car on the scene with rear-end damage.
Crews were on the scene for several hours cleaning up the fuel spill and clearing the wreck. The freeway was finally reopened just before noon.
There is no word of any injuries.
