The gator was spotted swimming in Sims Bayou near I-45 and Park Place. You could see a few people walking along the bank taking pictures a safe distance away.
According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, they get more reports of gator sightings between the months of March and May because they prefer sunny mild days.
At last check, everyone just let this gator go on its way.
