Three armed suspects accused of robbing pit bull seller

HOUSTON

According to court documents, the male victim, who sells pit bull puppies, received a call from a buyer the night of March 8 and agreed to meet the buyer at his south side house. The victim says when he walked out of his house at around 10:40pm, he was met by three armed suspects, who forced him back inside and demanded money and property. He told police that the suspects forced his wife to the floor and stole cash, electronics and his pit bull puppy.

Police say they tracked the caller's phone number to Roderick Mason and that the victim picked Mason out of a photo array. He also picked the two other suspects, Tori Kelly and John Joseph, out of photo arrays.

Mason was arrested on March 14 for an unrelated case, along with Joseph and Kelly, court documents state.

Kelly, Mason and Joseph are charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
