Ashley Christine Sanchez, 29, is charged with endangering a child. Webster police say on April 22 officers were dispatched to an address on Kobayashi and found that Sanchez and her child appeared to be intoxicated. Officers say they believe Sanchez neglected and endangered the child in her apparent intoxicated state, causing the child to ingest unknown narcotics.
The child was transported to Clear Lake Hospital for treatment. Sanchez was taken into custody.
Bond has been set at $5,000.
