A King penguin hatched April 9 and is about to join its parents, named Chilly-Willy and Petty.
This is the second King penguin to hatch this season at Moody Gardens.
Right now, the gender of the chick is unknown because it's impossible to tell male and female penguins apart based solely on looks.
To find out for sure, they'll need to conduct blood tests which will take about three months.
At that point, they'll decide on a name.
