The event runs from 2 to 6pm at Bohemeo's on Telephone Road in the east Houston.
Admission is free, and visitors can enjoy live music and free food.
Barrio Dogs serves to educate the public on proper care for pets.
The group also raises awareness for animal neglect and abuse as well as spaying and neutering programs.
