Man wearing Texans shirt wanted for robbing bank inside grocery store

HOUSTON

It happened at around 11:20am at the Food Town in the 9500 block of South Kirkwood in southwest Harris County. Investigators say the suspect was wearing a Texans shirt when he walked in and handed the teller a note, claiming to have a gun. The teller handed over some cash and he fled.

No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as a black male in his late 40s, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 180-190 pounds with a medium build. He had a dark complexion and light facial hair. He wore a dark colored baseball hat.

Investigators are hoping someone may recognize this man and call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
