The accident happened at about 5:30pm on Main at Wheeler in the Museum District. METRO spokesperson Jerome Gray confirmed that a METRO bus was turning into the Wheeler Park and Ride when the pedestrian was struck.
The victim, who has not been identified, died at the scene.
