This was part of the Houston Professional Firefighters Local 341's annual Fill the Boot campaign.
The firefighters collected donations to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Local 341 has ranked as the top department for donations in the country nine out of the past 10 years.
The firefighters have raised more than $6.3 million during that time.
Firefighters will be out again on May 12.
