Reward now offered in theft of Boy Scout trailer from Rosenberg church parking lot

ROSENBERG, TX

We first brought you this story last month on Eyewitness News at 6pm. Thieves stole the trailer from a church parking lot in Rosenberg between March 11 and March 13. The troop's leader told us the trailer contained about $10,000 worth of camping equipment.

"Who steals from Boy Scouts or stuff that's parked in front of a church?" asked Larry Grissett, Scout Master Troop 1630.

"We had a bunch of tents for all of the boys, as well as a bunch of backpacking tents, Dutch ovens, chimneys, all the propane bottles, lanterns, patrol boxes, custom made patrol boxes," said Rick Conley, Troop 1630 Advisor.

The white, unmarked trailer has a Texas license plate number 31Y YFL.
