The festival included a wildlife habitat zone where people learned more about animals and a green expo featuring 100 booths that provided information on green and environmentally-friendly products and services.
Kids also entered a recycling bin art contest.
Earth Day actually falls on April 22. It was first held in the U.S. in 1970 and events are now held worldwide to increase environmental awareness.
