Paramedics were called to the parking lot of a shopping center on Woodforest near Beltway 8. They found a man with a stab wound to the neck.
Investigators say he was actually attacked nearby at a mobile home on North Brentwood. The victim's friend was transporting him to the hospital, but pulled over at the parking lot to ask for help. A group of tow truck drivers were there and called 911.
Deputies tracked down the suspect near the crime scene.
"Deputies were able to locate her and she's currently in custody being transported to the homicide unit for interview," said Sgt. Ben Bell with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
The victim's identity has not been released but he is believed to be in his 50s.
