Prosecutors in Lubbock on Monday announced the sentence for 46-year-old Tomas Lira Jr. of San Angelo. Lira in December pleaded guilty to transportation of child pornography.
A federal agent posed online as a 15-year-old to respond to the message on Craigslist. Investigators say Lira in August texted a child pornography image to the person he thought was a teen.
Lira was arrested in October.
