Robbie Tolan filed the suit accusing the officers and the city of racial profiling stemming from a traffic stop four years ago.
Cotton was acquitted of using excessive force for shooting Tolan.
Judge drops lawsuit against Bellaire officers in teen shooting
HOUSTON
On Monday, a judge released officers Jeff Cotton and John Edwards from the lawsuit. The city of Bellaire is now the only defendant.
