Judge drops lawsuit against Bellaire officers in teen shooting

HOUSTON On Monday, a judge released officers Jeff Cotton and John Edwards from the lawsuit. The city of Bellaire is now the only defendant.

Robbie Tolan filed the suit accusing the officers and the city of racial profiling stemming from a traffic stop four years ago.

Cotton was acquitted of using excessive force for shooting Tolan.
