Police still searching for murder suspect wanted in May 2011 shooting

HOUSTON

Pedro Rodriguez, 33, is wanted on one count or murder and two counts of aggravated assaulted, according to Houston police. Rodriguez is accused of killing 43-year-old Victor Ramirez and injuring two others on May 2 at an apartment complex in the 7500 block of Long Point Road.

Detectives say Rodriguez pulled out a gun during an argument with the victims and started shooting at them before fleeing the scene.

Ramirez suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. A second male was also shot multiple times and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but survived the shooting. The third victim was shot once and hospitalized in stable condition.
