Several people were evacuated from their homes Saturday night during a house fire in Pasadena.

The fire broke out around 9pm in the 3200 block of Darling at Deepwater near Highway 225.

Initially, there were reports of people trapped in the blaze, but everyone was brought out of the house safely.

Fire officials said the house was subdivided into multiple residences, which presented a challenge in fighting the fire. All of the units were damaged in the blaze.

A neighboring home was also evacuated as a precaution as the flames grew.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
