It happened at a house in the 1900 block of Arcadia. It began at around 8am as deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on John Horsch, 52, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They say he was inside the home with his wife and son, but he allowed them to leave.
At around 1pm, authorities say officers deployed gas into the home and made entry through the front door. Horsch was taken into custody.
Horsch is currently on parole. No word on whether any weapons were found in the house.
