Family escapes burning home in southeast Houston

A family of three barely escapes a fire overnight at their home.

Arson investigators are looking into what sparked a house fire in southeast Houston overnight.

The house on Crosswell and Flamingo caught fire around midnight. A woman smelled smoke and got her two adult children out before calling 911.

Firefighters contained the fire to the back of the house. The cause of the fire is unknown. No one was hurt.
