Two men arrested in connection with eight home burglaries in Fort Bend and Harris counties

HOUSTON

On Feb. 22, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says a patrol deputy spotted a vehicle believed to be connected to a case in the Cinco Ranch area and that led to the two arrests.

Juliano Giannotti, of Katy, is facing charges of theft, burglary of a habitation, possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, and theft of property bond forfeiture. Giannotti, 20, remains in the Fort Bend County Jail on a total bond of $30,500.

Leith Kalef, of the Richmond area, was charged with three counts of burglary of a habitation. Kalef, 21, bonded out of jail on Feb. 24.

Detectives say they were able to connect the suspects to five burglary cases in the Cinco Ranch and Falcon Ranch areas, two cases in Harris County and one case in Richmond.

Some of the items stolen included TVs, jewelry and small household appliances. Deputies say many of the items taken were found in Giannotti's apartment.
