At about 9:55am Friday, March 2, deputies were called to the store located in the 8700 block of Highway 6 South, in the Houston area of the county.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the first suspect, described as a black male wearing a black wig and a bright, multi-colored t-shirt and pink pajama pants, walked up to the counter as if to pay something , but instead, jumped the counter and brandished a gun.
At that point, a second suspect entered the store. He is described as a thin black male who was wearing a black ski mask, blue jeans and a black hooded sweat shirt. A customer then entered the store only to be accosted by the second suspect, who demanded money from him.
The suspects fled the store with cash in hand. No one was injured.
One of the suspects is believed to be connected with two similar cases in the Houston area. Witnesses from the Fort Bend case positively identified a still photo from one of those robberies as one of the same suspects that robbed the Fort Bend location. In the Houston case, the suspect is dressed as a woman.
