Sad new developments in the search for a missing Beaumont woman. A body found near the San Jacinto River this weekend has been identified as the remains of Reina Cornejo-Triqueros.

The coroner's office ruled the 34-year-old's death a homicide saying she died from sharp force injuries to the neck, chest and back.

Cornejo-Triqueros had been missing from the Beaumont area since last Monday. Her partially burned truck was found abandoned on Thursday and the body was discovered Saturday along the river bank. Her boyfriend, Jesus Castrejon of Conroe, is wanted in connection with her murder.

If you have information about his whereabouts, you are urged to call police.
