E-cigarette incident delays Houston-bound flight

A flight headed to Houston was delayed by an unruly passenger yesterday.

Continental Flight 1118 returned to Portland, Oregon, moments after taking off because a passengers refused to turn off an electronic cigarette. The pilot decided to return to the airport.

The passenger and his travel companion were removed from the plane.

The flight resumed less than one hour after the initial takeoff. Charges could be filed against the passenger.
