Baytown police officers have been involved in a shooting, injuring a suspect.

Baytown police officers were called to an apartment complex on James Bowie Drive shortly after noon, where they found an injured woman. The man suspected of assaulting her was found not long after.

Officers stopped the suspect. They say the man threatened them and threw chunks of concrete at them.

One of the officers responded and shot the man, more than once. He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital. His condition is unknown.
