An East Texas man who allegedly was on drugs has been accused of falling from the attic space of his home and getting into a neighbor's water heater closet.

Tyler police say 30-year-old Kyle Garrett Williams apparently was chasing an "imaginary person" into his attic.

The Tyler man was jailed Tuesday on a trespassing charge, with bond set at $10,000. Online records did not list an attorney for Williams, who was captured Monday afternoon.

Police early Monday answered a call from a woman about noises in her water heater closet and a man who fled when she opened the door. Police found a wallet and went to the man's apartment, where his girlfriend was arrested on a drug charge.

Investigators believe that Williams had been doing drugs with his girlfriend.
