Stanford's former chief financial officer, James Davis, will testify for the prosecution. Lawyers for Stanford will argue Davis ran a $7 ponzi scheme. Stanford's lawyers say their client does plan to testify.
Stanford is also facing 100 civil lawsuits. They have been put on hold while the person in charge of Stanford's assets tries to repay investors.
