The woman accused of killing Jayna Murray, a 30-year-old who grew up in Fort Bend County, has been sentenced to life in prison.

Last March, Murray was killed by her coworker at the Lululemon Athletic Store where they worked in Bethesda, Maryland. Murray had more than 330 wounds.

Prosecutors told the jury that after beating and stabbing Murray, Brittany Norwood gave her self superficial cuts and tied herself up. When police found them, she told police they were raped and attacked by two masked men.

During the trial, prosecutors did not bring up a motive. Before sentencing, the judge told Norwood that she quote "exemplified the worst of human nature."
