Detectives searching for grocery store robber

HOUSTON

On December 5, a man walked into a grocery store in the 1400 block of Spring Cypress Road and headed straight to the customer service counter, where an employee was standing behind a cash register, according to Crime Stoppers. The suspect lifted his shirt and displayed a gun then demanded cash.

The employee complied with the victim's request and handed him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. He is about 5-foot-5 and weighs between 150 and 160 pounds. He had several colorful tattoos on the left side of his neck, a piercing on his bottom lip, and a brass knuckles tattoo on his left hand.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray striped pullover hooded sweater, blue jeans with rips in the front, and white shoes.
