It happened last month on Beaumont Highway at Shelter Road in east Harris County. Witnesses say Darrell Broussard, 28, and Edward Broussard, 26, stormed the illegal business before dawn and shot the security guard in the lobby.
The suspects then demanded money from the manager and shot him in the leg. The security guard, Ahmad Adnan Issaoui, died from his injuries. The manager, Luis Trelles, survived his injuries.
An anonymous tip helped investigators identify the suspects. Right now, they are still at large.
Darrell Broussard has a number of prior convictions for drugs, assault, robbery and theft.
