It happened on Candlelight near Ella in the Oak Forest neighborhood. Police say two dogs described only as Australian Shepherd mixes jumped a fence and attacked her.
The postal worker was bitten in the leg. An ambulance arrived and EMS workers bandaged her up. We're told fellow postal employees later took her to hospital.
The dogs have been quarantined by animal control. Police are investigating. No word yet on whether the owner will be cited.
