Shortly before 2pm Saturday, Brazoria County deputies were called to the Wells Fargo Bank in the 10100 block of Broadway (FM 518) in Pearland. Witnesses at the scene told authorities woman walked into the bank and stood in line waiting for her turn. When she approached the counter, she reportedly gave the teller a note that stated "I have a bomb, and a gun, give me the money or I will kill you."
According to witnesses, the woman didn't say anything else except "give me your top drawer" and "hurry it up." The suspect was handed loose cash totaling more than $3,100. After the woman received the money, she placed it in the pocket of her hoodie and walked calmly out the front door.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a Hispanic woman, approximately 5' to 5'5" tall, in her early to mid 20s, with long black hair and blonde highlights. She was wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark colored jeans. Witnesses spotted her making her getaway in a gray or silver colored compact car, unknown make or model, by exiting the parking lot on Broadway and heading east.
