The zoo hosted 200 boys Saturday for the Exxon Mobil Scout Day.
The scouts had the opportunity to earn badges in things like forestry and mammal studies.
They examined tree rings for evidence of rainfall and also learned about the dangers of wildfires and severe droughts like the one Texas is going through now.
